Kimi API: connect Kimi K3 and K2 models
Evrona gives you Kimi models, developed by Moonshot AI, through the Evrona gateway. Because the gateway is OpenAI-compatible, any OpenAI SDK code can switch to Kimi by changing the base URL and key, and the same Evrona key opens the rest of the catalog.
There is no Moonshot platform account to create: you top up your Evrona balance in rubles with a code and generate a key in the dashboard. The table below shows the Kimi models in the catalog, including Kimi K3 and the K2.7 Code versions, with prices, then key setup and a sample request.
You reach Kimi models through the Evrona gateway. This is not an official Kimi page: Evrona is an independent OpenAI-compatible gateway with its own key, balance and pricing.
Kimi models on Evrona and their prices
Kimi models are listed in Evrona catalog order. Each row shows the price per million input and output tokens and a Model ID starting with moonshotai/, which is what goes into the model parameter.

- Prepaid balance: top up first, then send requests — no subscription and no monthly fee.
- You top up in rubles with a top-up code that you redeem in your dashboard.
- You pay only for actual usage at the rates in the table, and every request shows up in your history.

Kimi API FAQ
How do I get a Kimi API key?
Create an Evrona account, top up with a code and generate a key. The ev-… key accepts moonshotai/kimi-… Model IDs and every other model in the catalog.
Is this the official Moonshot API?
No. Evrona is an independent OpenAI-compatible gateway, not the Moonshot AI platform. Kimi requests go through Evrona, and the key, balance and pricing are ours.
Is there a Kimi K3 API?
Yes — Kimi K3 is in the Evrona catalog and its Model ID is in the table. Next to it you'll find Kimi K2 models, including the K2.7 Code versions; switching is a matter of changing the Model ID.
How much does the Kimi API cost?
Kimi model prices are in the table and the catalog, per million input and output tokens. Only actual usage is charged, and the cost calculator estimates the total for your volume.
How do I pay for Kimi?
Through your prepaid Evrona balance: buy a top-up code for rubles and redeem it in the dashboard. Kimi usage and every other model draw on that same balance.
Can I use Kimi in agents and IDEs?
If the tool lets you set a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL, enter Evrona's /v1 address, your Evrona key and a Kimi Model ID from the table. For coding work, look at the K2.7 Code versions.
